Volcano Names

 This week I translated Auckland volcano names to Maori.

First we had to translate the Maori volcano names into english. For example: One tree hill. In Maori is Maungakiekie. Mount Smart. In Maori is Rarotonga.

Then we filled out a weather sheet. For example: it is a cloudy day. In Maori it means He kapua. It is a rainy day. In Maori it is He ua.

I got most of the words right and I'd like to do this activity again.
