Synthesis

Synthesis is an activity that helps you learn new things. There are three boxes to put your information. They are: prior knowledge, new information, and new understandings.

For prior knowledge you have to put the information that you know about. For example: water from the lake goes down the dam into the spillways.

For new information you have to put four facts that you know about. One of my facts were: generators use magnets and coils of wires to make electricity.

For new understandings you have to put new information that you didn't know about. Two of my understandings were: I learnt that water power can make electricity. I learnt that a dam uses one million cubic metres of concrete.
