Maori Names

For Maori we translated peoples names to english.

First we had to read the names and translate them. In the Maori alphabet letters that Maori do not use are: j, l, s, v, and d. Instead they use r, h, and w.

Next we looked them up on the Maori dictionary to see if they are correct. I got three wrong and the rest correct. I was close to getting all of them correct. 

I enjoyed learning new words in Maori.
