Simple Machines

We searched around the school to find the six simple machines. They are: inclined plane, wedge, lever, screw, pulley, and wheel and axle.

The lever lifts up the chair from a lower level to a higher level. 

A inclined plane helps people move from alower level to a higher level.

A wheel and axle helps a wheelie bin move around.

A screw helps things connect together.

A pulley helps the flag move up from a lower level.

A wedge helps a door keep open.
