Keyword

All texts has a range of words to share information with the reader.

A keyword is something that unlocks a meaning of a word or saying. An example of what a keyword is: riot. Riot means to take part in violent things.

Keywords can help summarise the text. For example Allies, Central Powers and Power struggle. These words can unlock information in the text.

Keywords can build your vocabulary when unlocking a new word. For example: latrine. Latrine is a toilet. Soilders used these in the army.

A keyword can unlock information in a faster amount of time.
