A pulley is used to lift objects from a lower level to a higher level which uses a rope and a wheel. A inclined plane is used to lift people or objects from a lower level to a higher level that is shaped like a skinny triangle. A lever is used to lift objects from a lower level to a higher level with a bar and a pivot.
A screw is used to hold objects together.
A wheel and axle is used to hold things easier to make something roll.
A wedge is used to cut wood in half that is shaped like a triangle.
These machines can still be used to help people work faster and easier.
