We used multiplication to count many items quickly.
First we split the big group of counters into small groups of 5. Multiplication is a faster way of adding the same number many times.
Next we counted the number of groups there are. We used multiplication to find out the unknown amount , which was 45.
I enjoyed this task because I learnt how to use multiplication to add numbers faster many times.
