QAR

L.I To pose questions and locate answers in the text.

There are four types of QAR questions. the QAR questions are right there, think and search, Author and you, and on my on.

A right there question is where you can spot the answer in one place. You can also point to it.

A think and search question is where you can spot the answer in many places like connecting the dots.

A author and you is when the answer is not in the text. So you have to come up with a question that relates to the book.

A on my own question is similar to the author and you question but you have to come up with a question that somebody knows about and is related to the story.

QAR is a strategy to help you know where to find the answer and how to answer the questions.
