I read a book called Matariki breakfast. I had to find verbs, adjectives, and nouns.

A verb is an action word. A adjective is a describing word. A noun is naming a place or thing.

Summarise is a skill and means using information from the book to tell a story in your own words.

Summarising was very helpful because it is easier to retell a story.
