America's cup
I learnt about the America's cup. I found information then I summarized the text, and evaluated the information.
First I read information about the America's cup and to find information for the who, what, where, when, and why.
Next I summarized the main ideas and chose 20 important words. Next I chose 6 most important words out of the 20 and summarized using the six words.
Afterwards I evaluated and wrote down what the text was about and wrote down interesting facts about the America’s cup. After I wrote down questions about the America’s cup.
I think using these strategies can be helpful when doing other work.

The Highway Rat
The visualisation strategy is trying to get a picture in your head.
The story was about a highway rat who was a bad person who was stealing all the other animals food.
My visualisation is different to another persons picture because we all have different drawings. It is important because I am able to tell the story by looking at the pictures.

Basic Facts Boxes
I completed a basic facts boxes sheet up to 10 on the speed demon challenge. The basic facts boxes objective is to answer the questions rapidly.
I got 100/100 correct. My time was 4 minutes and 19 seconds.
Next time I will do a harder level because this level is too easy.
LI. To recall basic facts fluently and quickly.
