PE | Moonball

For HPE we played a game called moonball with Whaea Petra.

Moonball is a game when you have to keep the Dodgeball in the air like volleyball. Then we played our first game of moonball.

Next in the game we wrote why we were not focusing on the game, and what we could to focus in the game.

One of our ideas for not listening was not communicating, and one of our ideas for what we can do when we play again was teamwork.

I learnt to communicate and co-operate with each other. I felt exhausted when hitting the ball up in the air. Our top score was 57 passes.

LI: Identify characteristics of a good team member Identify actions and factors that can prevent a team from working cooperatively.

SSR selfie | Bad guys

I read 42 pages of bad guys written by Aaron Blabey.

First, Prince marmalade plans on taking over the world but shadow squad G is there to stop him without Mr snake.

Next, Mr wolf and Ellen go to another planet to find out what is happening. Mr pirana and mr shark runs into mr pirana's dad, cousins and sibilings.

Lastly, When they fight prince marmalade and his guards, prince marmalade is actually mr snake.

I like the way the author explained that prince marmalade was mr snake.

Rugby league

I read 12 pages about Rugby league written by Robert Gott.

Rugby league is one of the most popular sports. There are 13 players in a team: eight players in a scrum and seven scattered all over the field called the backs.

Rugby league has been around for a period of 100 years. The field is 112 to 122 metres long and 68 metres wide. Scrum is a way to start after a rule has been broken.

I enjoyed this book because I learnt lots of new facts about Rugby league.

Basic Facts sheet

I created a basic facts chart using google sheets.

My partner and I were trying to figure out what number bonds make 10. Next we were finding out what number bonds make 20. Last we were figuring out what doubles we could make up to 20.

Afterwards I recorded my results on the google sheets.

I used different tools like ( Ctrl C ) and Ctrl V ) because it helps make work faster to complete.

I enjoyed doing this cybersmart and maths activity because it helps me learn different tools and I can use those tools in my learning.

LI: to learn number bonds and doubles.
