My thinkboards

Today for maths I did a thinkboard, the equation was thirty eight plus fifty.  There were four columns.  The first column I did was nine maths equations.  The next column that I did was describing the equation by drawing it. the first thing I wrote down on the drawing column was 38+50 twice.  The next thing I wrote was 38+50, and two arrows underneath 38+50.  After I did that the last thing I wrote down was eight plus zero/three plus five.

The second to last column was I had to write a story problem.  Then I did the last one.  The last one was I had to explain how I solved the equation by using words, numbers, and an equation.
